PAST Trolley Tours of the City What: See the highlights of the Parlor City's historic architecture with a tour from the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier (PAST).  The ~45 minute trolley tour takes you across the city and includes the Roberson Museum, the Kilmer Building, the Press Building, the Bundy Museum, Phelp's Mansion, the "State of the Arts" gallery row, and several other significant landmarks.

Where: The trolley will depart from the intersection of Washington St & Hawley St

When: Tours begin at 4:30pm and 6:00pm

River Crawl: "All the Way Along the Greenway"



Description: Get the full story on how the state and localities are working together to connect the approximately 30 miles of walking and biking trails through Greater Binghamton and beyond, including a link to the Binghamton University Campus.  It will start with a bird's eye view and then bring it down to ground level.

"The Welcome Table" - A Community Project Get involved! Contribute to “The Welcome Table”
The inspiration for a community art installation which will be on display in Binghamton’s City Hall Plaza Gallery beginning December 5, 2008, culminating in the First Night® Binghamton 2009 celebration on December 31, 2008.  EVERYONE is  invited to contribute.
No previous art experience is necessary.

Mural Art Project
Description: A community mural will be created by the practicing and student artists of the Greater Binghamton area.  The artists will each have their own space to create their contribution to this work of art revolving around the theme of unifying a community through diversity & tolerance.  The final work will be mounted on a prominent building in downtown Binghamton-a permanent record of a diverse group using their talent to improve to visual impression of the downtown area.
