Initial funding was provided by the Stephen David Ross University and Community Projects Fund, Provost Mary Ann Swain, and the Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition. Thanks to the support, CIC2020 managed to covered the costs of administering the CIC Leadership Institute for the first few years. The organization has since relied on contributions from the Office of President Lois DeFleur and community sponsors.
